Prospect is seeking to recruit a Negotiations Officer based at our Bristol office.

This role covers members within our South West and Wales region and will cover employers across the South West but potentially with members throughout the UK.

This role is a mobile grade and the post-holder will be responsible for collective bargaining, individual representation and recruitment and organisation work with specific groups of members.

Specifically, the individual will be required to have:

  • skills in collective and individual representation at work
  • knowledge of employment issues and employment law
  • experience in trade union activities including negotiating, recruiting, organising and lobbying
  • a commitment to the trade union movement.
