New training courses for Prospect Energy reps and activists
Prospect is offering its reps and members working within the Energy sector a unique learning opportunity.
We have arranged six bespoke online courses delivered via Zoom, between 31 January 2022 and 10 February 2022, in partnership with Co-Operative College.
The six online courses will offer you not only the opportunity to refresh or develop a range of skills and knowledge applicable to your representative role but also your wider professional and personal lives; plus, uniquely and inclusively, an opportunity to network with other union colleagues from energy companies across a range of disciplines and roles.

The 6 courses available are:
- Active Listening For Effective Communications
- Building Self-confidence and Assertiveness
- Communications: Presenting an Argument
- Influencing and Persuading Others
- Empathy for Team Building
- Creating a Culture of Volunteering and Personal Development
Each session is between 2 ½ – 3 hours long with up to 15 Prospect energy members per session. An Co-Operative College e-certificate is issued on completion of each session.
