Effective campaigning for union reps

This course will help you understand what campaigning is and teach you  how to recognise a good campaign. The practical session will cover how to plan and evaluate campaign progress. Attendees will create a draft campaign and action plan that they can use to run campaigns in their branch.

  • 9:30am – 1pm and 2:20pm – 4pm with an extended 90 minute lunch break to allow for work on a presentation
  • Full day attendance is required.
  • Level 2

Who is the course for?

Any Rep who has completed Reps part 1 or Effective H&S, and who has a campaign idea or are at the planning stage of a campaign.

What will I learn?

  • Understand what campaigning is
  • Recognise a good campaign
  • Develop a structure for your campaigning
  • Know how to evaluate the progress of a campaign
  • Attendees should go away with a plan for a campaign they can run in their branch, a draft plan for that campaign and an action plan
