Bitesize training: New beginnings and communications skills: 22 April – 4 June

The next phase of the union’s CPD support is targeted on developing your career in the creatives industries. For those seeking a career in the Film and TV industries, there is a 3-day blended course called “Lights, Training, Action” film. Or for those embarking on a new stage in their career of self-employment/freelancing, there is a 2-part online course plus a range of stand-alone subject specific sessions covering the key skills of: digital communication, networking, finances plus managing your well-being and resilience. There are also some in-depth sessions exploring British Sign Language skills.  Many of these sessions are free to members, however, a number, which attract external accreditation or 2- parts with a year’s level of support, have a small course fee.
