Introduction to Pensions
This course will provide a basic understanding of the UK pension system and help attendees to help members with simple pension queries by providing signposting to scheme, Prospect and government resources.

Who is the course for?
Any rep who has attended either Reps part 1 or and Effective Health and Safety Rep and is interested in pensions in their branch.
What will I learn?
- Get a basic understanding of the UK pension system and the role it plays in retirement planning.
- How to help members with simple pension queries by providing signposting to scheme, Prospect and government resources.
- How to initiate complaints about pension issues on behalf of members.
