Developing our future leaders
Are you keen to gain a better understanding what leadership means in trade unions and how Prospect operates a national level? If so, we have just the course for you.
We are inviting applications for a two-day programme in London for members interested in how we work and the roles of the national executive committee and our advisory and sector committees.
The course, which will be held on 4-5 November, will look at the different roles and skills needed to be an effective leader and committee representative. During the course you will develop skills in:
- understanding data
- campaigning
- financial decisions and scrutiny
- getting your message across
- strategic decision making.
Please ask your branch, section or sub-section secretary for an application form (in circular https://library.prospect.org.uk/id/2019/01292) which needs to be returned to us by 24 September at the latest.
Places are limited and we are anticipating high demand so we cannot guarantee that all applications will be successful. We will let all applicants know the outcome by 1 October.
