Manzoni’s successor must rectify his deplorable record on pay
22 January 2020
John Manzoni, Chief Executive of the UK Civil Service is to stand down.
Garry Graham, Prospect deputy general secretary, said:
“John Manzoni talked about a ‘brilliant civil service’ but never articulated what it should be like to work in and for such an organisation.
“People look to their CEO for leadership, but also active support and fighting their corner.
“Hopefully John Manzoni’s successor as chief executive will do that. In particular on pay, where the record has been deplorable.”
