New banner – we want your ideas

Our official union banner is an important part of our identity. Now we have our new logo we are looking at how we can represent this in a new banner. We want reps and members to send us their ideas. Views are also welcome from members in the Bectu Sector on the Prospect banner as well as a  Bectu Sector banner.

You will need to think about how should we best represent our union visually?

Maybe by the sectors and industries we represent?

Or the values we stand for?

Or the work that we do?

Or something else entirely.

We need ideas that will stand the test of time, so that our banner is relevant into the 2030s.

Please draw or describe your ideas onto a single side of A4 and they will be considered by a group of senior union representatives working with a banner artist. You can download a template to print and submit your banner ideas on here.

The best idea or ideas will be incorporated into the final designs to be agreed by the NEC.
