Working for BT 2013 – Prospect Survey

15 July 2013

Our annual survey of the terms and conditions of employment for our members in BT has been conducted for a number of years now and it continues to be of major help in our continuing negotiating and organising work in the company, and in contributing to the pay agreements we have recently been able to make with the company.

Building on the survey into performance management that we conducted earlier this year, the questionnaire for this year’s survey has now been launched, which you can find by following this link:

https://www.prospect.org.uk/survey/working_for_bt_2013.htm

We should be very grateful if you would spend some time in completing the questionnaire; as always, it is entirely anonymous and will not be reported in a way which subsequently allows participants to be identified. We reported the findings from last year’s survey in the October-November issue of Connectedsummary findings in the Prospect library.

The questions ask you about the Reward Framework role to which you are mapped, your current salary level and the amount of any bonus. You might find it useful to have this information in front of you before you tackle the questionnaire. We also ask a number of fresh questions this year on career development within BT and there is an expanded section on work-life balance.

Once you have completed the survey, do have a chat to your colleagues and see if they have filled it in too – as always, the better the response rate that we get, the more representative the results are likely to be.

The survey opens for returns today, and will remain open until Friday 2 August when it will be closed for analysis.

If you have any concerns or questions about the survey, do forward them direct to us at: [email protected]
