Young Workers’ Network
We are Prospect’s Young Worker’s Network, a group dedicated to linking-up Prospect’s members aged 35 and under to help the voices of young workers be heard more clearly by employers and within the Union.
We know that young people in the UK are facing a huge challenge simply to survive in the midst of the ongoing cost-of-living crisis, with the bare essentials of food and rent increasingly expensive and good work hard to come by – especially for those of us just starting out.
We know it doesn’t have to be this way. We know that we can build a better future for young workers – with the new Employment Rights Act, we have a once in a generation chance to reshape work for good.
Members, young and old, from across the full breadth of Prospect are striving together to help bring this future about – fighting to protect good jobs and fighting for a better working life for all. Only by acting in solidarity with each other can we make change happen!
Prospect membership means support for you and your colleagues to secure a better day at work through organising and campaigning. Your voice is amplified by 160,000 fellow union members (supported by Prospect staff), throughout your whole career from young worker to retirement.
This is the most important time in decades to join a union to help push for a better future that we all know is possible.
By joining Prospect, you can be part of a growing network of over 30,000 Young Workers in similar industries, all striving for the same end.
