Closure of North Star House, Swindon

The union has been made aware that managers are seeking to organise further individual consultation meetings next week, in respect of the proposed closure of North Star House.

This timetable has not been agreed with the union and we have informed BT that we believe it inappropriate to proceed with the next stage of individual consultations before the formal closure of consultation on the proposal itself.

Furthermore, we have been seeking to hold a collective discussion with the company on the responses from IC1s. Therefore, we have written to BT asking that any IC2 meetings be deferred at this stage pending further collective consideration.
