National Executive Committee election results 2026-2028

Prospect members have elected a new National Executive Committee (NEC) and Presidential Team.

The new NEC’s term will begin at the close of the union’s 2026 National Conference on Tuesday 9 June, and last for two years.

The union’s Presidential Team was elected unopposed.

Ele Wade is re-elected as President. Ele works for the Intellectual Property Office as a senior patent examiner. She was first elected to the NEC in 2014.

The Vice President will be Alice Black. Alice is a freelancer in the Scottish Live Events branch. She joined the NEC in 2023.

The Deputy Vice President will be Eamonn Guilfoyle. Eamonn works for the Office for Nuclear Regulation and has been a member of the NEC since 2020.

The result was communicated to branch, section and sub-section secretaries via a national circular.
