National Trust branch: stand up for your selfie and win £100!
Prospect’s National Trust branch is appealing to its members to take a selfie of themselves at work that the committee can use to illustrate new promotional literature.
Members who submit photos will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will recieve a £100 One4all gift card.
All you have to do is simply take a selfie at work* and email it with your name, job title and the location where you work to North West NT branch rep Paul Delaney – [email protected]
Branch president Paul Stewart, the garden manager at Mount Stewart in County Down, Northern Ireland, said: “Standing up for ourselves and each other – and generally making the world of work a better place – is principally what unions are about.
“None of this could be achieved without the strength of membership we have in the branch. This is something we would like to celebrate with new promotional literature featuring some of our members. Your selfies will help us illustrate the great breadth of jobs and professions within the Trust.”
Paul said his branch committee hoped other branches within Prospect might be inspired to do something similar.
The prize draw will be held at the next NT branch committee meeting in Tredegar, South Wales, on 24 January 2017 – so please email your entries by midnight on 23 January.
NOTE
* By submitting a selfie you grant Prospect’s National Trust branch permission to reproduce, enlarge, publish or exhibit the image on any media for any purpose connected with the competition. This may include, but is not limited, to the branch and Prospect websites; press, promotional and marketing materials (both print and digital); on social media used by the NT branch; and for display at any exhibitions.
