Prospect concludes two-year pay agreement in Babcock DSG

14 July 2016

Members have voted to accept the deal, which pays members an aggregate consolidated increase of 3.5% plus £250 over 20 months, with additional increases for staff at the bottom of pay bands.

The agreement also restructures some pay bands and buys out the previous corporate bonus arrangement. The next pay review date is brought forward to 1 April 2017.

Steph Marston, Assistant Secretary Defence, who supported Prospect’s Babcock DSG branch through the negotiations, said, “It has taken over a year and a lot of hard work and commitment on both sides to reach this agreement. The branch has put in an immense amount of effort to get the best possible deal for members”.
