Prospect urges PM to make Sizewell C part of his legacy

The Government has delayed a crucial planning decision on Sizewell C.
Prospect senior deputy general secretary Sue Ferns responded:
“The delay to make a decision on Sizewell C’s Development Consent Order puts at risk a project that will contribute to UK energy security, take us towards net zero and provide much-needed good green jobs.
“We also need the Government to confirm its investment decision without delay. With cross-party support for new nuclear, the Prime Minister has an opportunity to have Sizewell C be part of his legacy – he must seize it.”
