Protect the right to strike: join us at the emergency protest

17 May 2023

The Government’s legislation attacking the right to strike – the Strikes (Minimum Service Levels) Bill – is due to be voted on by MPs again on Monday 22 May.

This Bill is an attack on fundamental working and trade union rights. We have been campaigning against the Bill alongside the TUC and other trade unions.

The TUC is holding an emergency protest in Parliament Square, London at 6pm on Monday 22 May. Find out more.

Join us at the rally and protect the right to strike. Sign up here to attend the protest.

Members will also be able to collect flags etc. from outside our London HQ immediately from 5pm-5.30pm before members leave together for the protest.

The address is New Prospect House, 8 Leake Street, London, SE1 7NN – a 10 minute walk from Parliament Square.

Whether or not you are able to join the protest, please send this template email to your MP asking them to support amendments to the Bill that remove some of its worst aspects – and also to vote against the Bill as a whole.
