Scottish Trades Union Congress 2012
The 115th STUC Annual Congress will be held at Eden Court Theatre, Inverness from Monday 23 to Wednesday 25 April. This year’s Congress will highlight the ‘There is a better way’ campaign which promotes a clear and distinct economic alternative to the current policies of the coalition government.
Congress will attract over 330 trade union delegates representing 37 Trade Unions, 24 Trades Union Councils as well as a number of international guests and speakers from the world of politics.
Represent Prospect at STUC Congress
Our delegation is usually composed of a combination of National Executive Committee members, branch representatives and full-time officers. If you are interested in being a Prospect delegate please contact your branch secretary in plenty of time. Nominations must be submitted by Friday 22 February.
Our delegation usually assembles the day before Congress so that there can be a delegation meeting and therefore hotel accommodation in Inverness will be arranged for Prospect delegates for 3 nights from Sunday 22 April.

Would you like to be a Prospect delegate to STUC Youth Conference?
The Annual STUC (Scottish Trades Union Congress) Youth Conference will be held on the weekend of Saturday 23 – Sunday 24 June 2012 at the STUC Conference Centre, Glasgow.
Conference is a great opportunity to meet other young trade union activists from across Scotland. There will be special workshops and discussion sessions, as well as a range of social activities. The theme of this year’s Conference is ‘There is a Better Way – Fighting for Our Future’.
Bed and breakfast accommodation; lunches on Saturday and Sunday; and dinner and entertainment on the Saturday evening will be provided.
Please note that delegates to STUC Youth Conference must be 26 years of age or under.
