In 2021, Prospect published its Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy with a clear plan to transform our own inclusion work and to become more effective in championing the rights of members at work. In this webinar, we will introduce new resources we have produced to assist, build confidence and support reps when representing members and engaging with employers.
Joining Conversations Workshop, Fri 9 Sept 10am
If you know you need to get new joiners into your branch but feel nervous about having that conversation with them then this is the course for you. In this interactive workshop we will go through the how and why of joining conversations, talk through a script to help you gain confidence and give you some practice in a safe space.

An interactive workshop to help reps start the process of developing effective branch communications with a particular focus on the importance of the words we use to gain engagement with members and non-members.
Who are Prospect?, Tues 13 September 12:30pm
This session is suitable for newer members and those who want to know a bit more about the basics of how trade unions work, what they do and a little about the areas that Prospect works in. We will also answer your questions about how Prospect works.
Training year ahead, Tues 13 September 2pm
This session is aimed at all reps and activists – whether you are considering getting more involved in your union, a new rep or one of our more experienced reps. We will provide an overview of the national reps training programme for the remainder of 2022 and for 2023, and also give you a chance to meet the team and ask any questions on our reps training or wider vocational skills programmes.
