Multi-year deal delivers 11.8% pay increase for members at Electricity North West

21 July 2022

Following a multi-year deal agreed in 2020, Prospect members working at Electricity North West are set to receive a substantial pay rise as part of the agreement between the company and unions.

As part of the deal, the June retail price index (RPI) of 11.8%, which was published on 20 July, will apply for 2022 pay.

Steven Roberts, Prospect’s Negotiations officer, said:

“The increasing cost of living is affecting everyone, so an 11.8% pay increase will be a welcome relief for Prospect members at Electricity Northwest. As part of the multi-year deal, the annual pay increases are based on the higher Retail Price Index as opposed to CPI or CPIH.

“This year’s pay increase for members at Electricity North West will relieve some of the stresses of high inflation and allow members to continue to focus on providing a critical services across the North West of England.”
