Prospect is the UK’s leading union for workers in the renewables industry.

We represent a growing membership of workers driving the net zero transition in areas such as offshore wind, onshore wind, solar, hydro, and storage.

Prospect has more than 100 years’ experience of fighting for a better deal for energy workers. We are committed to continuing to be a strong voice for workers in a rapidly changing industry – securing recognition agreements at major renewables employers such as Ørsted, RWE, and SSE.

Prospect has been leading calls for a rapid rollout of renewables to decarbonise our energy system and create good green jobs, while driving up working conditions across the sector. We work with industry bodies such as RenewableUK.
